Greetings from the groomers of the Strawberry Valley grooming complex. We received about 10 inches of snow on the flats this past weekend, which is not quite enough for us to start grooming operations. Once we have at least 18 inches across the sagebrush flats, we will officially begin the grooming season. Stay tuned!

GROOMING SCHEDULE

Monday: CO-OP, Lake Creek Trailhead, Strawberry River

Tuesday: Clyde Creek, Mud Creek, Marina, Back to Shed

Wednesday: Cub Flats

Thursday: CO-OP, Lake Creek Trailhead, Strawberry River

Friday: Indian Creek, Trail Hollow, White River Warming Hut

Saturday: CO-OP, Lake Creek Trailhead, Strawberry River

Sunday: Clyde Creek, Mud Creek, Marina, Back to Shed

That’s all she wrote folks. Our grooming season has come to and end. Our last run of the season was Co-op to Lake Creek Trailhead and down Strawberry River on April 23, 2023. While there is still a lot of snow in the higher elevations, the cross country flat and river crossings are deteriorating fast. It is no longer safe for us to keep grooming. We want to thank all of our users for their support this epic season and we appreciate all of the compliments we received out on the trail. It really means a lot to our groomers to hear their hard work is appreciated and enjoyed by so many. Have a great summer off and we’ll be back in the fall to start marking trails again. If you are interested in volunteering please reach out to the Utah Snowmobile Association directly and they can get you in touch with a complex in your area.

Grooming is slowing down. Without any new snow in the Strawberry Valley, the snow is icy and hard to groom into a decent product. The snow off the trail is melting and freezing at night resulting in rock hard conditions. We will be cutting back operations to Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week, keeping with the same runs on the schedule. The lower trailed across the flats are melting fast and my cause is to stop grooming soon. We will keep you updated.
